We threw away our iLive IKBC384 due to reception problems, remote control work etc. This KR-140 was easy to install, great reception (and we're in a rural area of western New York where stations are difficult to connect). The sound on this unit is above average to my ears, with pretty good bass and clarity. My only gripe is the front of the radio where not all the controls are highlighted making the SMALL buttons a bit difficult to read. Station presets are easy to set up, and the table light under the radio is something I didn't think would make much of a difference, but it really comes in handy. Goodbye!
