I bought this unit after my daughter had an accident that required a handicapped shower. The shower was easy to install and the adhesive button that holds the bottom of the vertical rail is holding up better than I expected after five months at the time of this writing. My biggest regret is that the slider needs to be at least a foot longer. Our old shower head was installed at a standard height and ran through the drywall just above the rim of the tub. When I installed this, the bottom of the slider was still quite high, 54 inches above the bath floor. And the hand shower cannot be angled so that the jet hits her face when she is sitting. on her shower bench and the handle is in the holder. Very uncomfortable for her. So works well, but probably not the best or most flexible knot to make a walk-in shower accessible for people with disabilities.
