Review on Copper Versaille Arch For Stunning Garden Décor: Gardman 8241 by Freddy Hammonds

Don't Buy: my feedback

I purchased this Gardman Arch and while assembling it discovered one of the arch beams was defective. The welded nut was stripped. The easy fix would be to replace the defective cross beam. In the instructions it says if you have any problems or queries to call the customer helpline:World Source Partners LLC9285 Commerce HwyPennsauken, NJ 08110856-382-0073I called and spoke with Tracy. Customer service ended when I told he I bought it from Revain. She said I'd have to contact them. She was incredibly rude and basically called me a liar. I told her I had left a message the day before and no one had called me back. She rudely said she returned all calls. I asked to speak with a manager. She told me none were available. She had no intension of providing customer service. I called back and left a message for both of the two owners - managers, John Scannell and Jay Torrin (I was able to manually select their extensions). Their names are: . Neither one has ever called me back. Had I not spent so much of my time with assembly I would have gladly taken Revain's offer for a refund. Instead I got a replacement. I took out the part I needed and dragged the huge heavy box back for shipping. The replacement box arrived in such bad shape it was worn through and open on two ends. The UPS driver had to deliver it upside down so parts would fall out. I've not had the Arch long and it's already rusting at the seams and bolts. If you tighten the screw too much by hand with a screwdriver the metal bends. It is cheap, flimsy and poorly made. Had I not had so much time invested in assembly I would have returned it. It was a colossal waste of time as well trying to get the one part I needed as opposed to having a whole unit sent out. I rarely write more than one sentence review and usually mine are a ll good. After this experience I decided to waste more of my time with an accurate review. If I could leave less than one star I would. Between customer service from hell, being called a liar, no returned phone calls from three people in the company and having to deal with broken, flimsy, shoddy workmanship that is already turning into a rust bucket I can only hope that the vines I'm trying to grow will cover this eye sore! If I had a crystal ball I would never have purchased! If I could leave less than one star I would. Horrible experience! Incredible waste of my time!

Pros
  • Easy to assemble with complete instructions included. Legs will stake into soil effortlessly.
Cons
  • The copper material may not age well and develop a patina that matches the rest of the garden
