I have the original of this item and it's great. I bought this one thinking it would be great too, but it doesn't work at all. It doesn't dry out the hair at all and the part in the middle that's supposed to drain water doesn't allow for pressure so it can't give the smooth look I get from the original. I got it to dry and change direction. Change of direction - A++. Blow drying my hair - Q- I almost completely blow dried my hair and still had to dry it several times, especially the top part of the styler because it doesn't close well even with very little hair in it. Buy the original - it's great. Don't waste your money on it.
