My car roof came off at 55mph in a rainstorm. Bouncing off the pavement and then hitting the hood of a car from behind. He picked it up and followed my wife 10 miles until he stopped her. The phone was not damaged. The case did its job, though, absorbing the impact by tearing a small area in the corner of the screen protector, allowing a few drops of water to get under the plastic screen protector. I just ordered a replacement. Fantastic case!
