Received in early July and immediately put it in the car. I'm very meticulous about cleaning the interior of my cars, so there were no odors when I first put it under the seat. The smell of pumpkin is very distinctive and very strong. The beads were still soft and moved when shaken. The smell lasted about a week, then nothing. I checked the box, gave it a little shake and the smell returned. That went on for a week, then nothing again. When I checked the box, there were almost no pearls left. I checked the floor and under the carpets, nothing. The bullets evaporated, leaving an empty container as a reminder that air fresheners don't work in the intense desert heat. It took a total of 2 weeks, not as long as claimed or as long as other people are lucky. If the outside temperature hits 120+ for a few days, everything in the car will either dry out or melt. If you leave the window ajar, the smell will dissipate, leaving a dusty cabin and stagnant, normal air. Would I buy again? Yes, but maybe in the cooler months.
