Update: I'm not sure if this is user error or what, but I've had to reformat the drive 3 times in the last month. I'm not sure how much data I've lost since backing up most of my data before transferring, but it was a PITA to remember what it was and transfer it back. Original: I use this to connect directly to my phone. I run corporate social media and keep copies of all our promotional photos/videos on this little gem. This allows me to post from anywhere without cluttering up my phone with company belongings (and virtually eliminating the risk of accidentally posting something personal from my phone). Just 2 suggestions I would make: have a cap for the USB end or a clip that prevents it from spinning when not in use and a cap holder (small chain/plug) that holds the cap for connects the other end to the case. walk so you don't get lost.
