While this is a great starter kit, it did not arrive as advertised. The transparent flat surfaces pictured were raw chipboard which I found pre-damaged for my use - (curved corner) within the first hour it drew so much oil out of the clay that a few pieces dried out before I could use it. The way it really grabs the clay you're using - almost to the point of destruction - when you remove your art is fine too. Ideal for beginners but not for practical use. Nor can you expect to receive what you think you ordered. -5
