I bought these pants to wear to a party dinner. First I paired them with a sequin top and then with a velvet tank top and jacket. The pants are very, very comfortable. Their material is a bit thinner than I expected, but they actually drape quite well - without being droopy. Not knowing the length, I bought both a miniature and a regular one. The Petite were a bit short (I like my pants to be a little rumpled on my legs); The regular length is a bit long even with heels so I rolled them up at the waist to shorten them. Definitely glad I bought them as I will be wearing them many times. As for the sizes, I usually wear 16W pants and the XL size fits me.
