We recently bought a new printer (HP Laser Jet Pro Multifunction M428fdn-W1A29A) and it only came with a starter cartridge so we had to buy some new toner spares for it. We were actually very skeptical about buying them since it's our first time trying homemade cartridges, but the price was good enough, so I decided to give it a try. The product arrived well packaged and included detailed instructions with photos and tools. We followed the instructions and quickly installed the chip. Hooray! However, the printer with the old (used) chip cannot read the amount of new toner, but this has NO effect on the print quality. You work clearly and precisely. To be honest, if you're not looking for an absolutely perfect print, but just a simple print, these will work like a charm. Replacing the chip is a bit of a hassle, but given the savings, a few minor inconveniences can be put up with. Highly recommended!
