I have decided to write a very detailed review of this bag here as apart from one person nobody seems to have commented or rated it. Which I find surprising given how incredibly good this flight bag is. I am currently studying to become a student pilot and I have a lot of gear/books/needs that I needed a flight bag with. I spent hours reading reviews and studying different bags, their quality and size. In the end I decided on this bag and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I was so excited when I took this bag out of the packaging. When you first see and touch it, you immediately notice that this bag is incredibly high quality and very, very well made. The material is durable, almost every pocket and compartment is lined and thickly lined. The seams are strong. The grip is damn hard. The zippers are EXCELLENT. These are heavy, strong, solid pieces of steel that are very well designed and feel great. They will never break. There are so many specialized compartments in this bag, made specifically for specific pieces of flight gear. I have attached some of my uploaded photos and tried to show where I keep everything. The functionality of this bag is amazing and it will help you stay organized. The overall size of this bag is perfect in my opinion. It's big enough for almost anything you'd ever want to take on a plane, but it's not so big that it's uncomfortable or difficult to store or take with you on a plane. The large center compartment is large enough to perfectly accommodate standard sized textbooks if that is what you desire. I keep all my books in a separate backpack because I've found that you never need study guides when you're actually in the cockpit. I store a fairly large knee pad, baseball cap, fog and a few other small items in the large center compartment and still have about 75% room for other items. All the side compartments are really cool and well thought out. This bag has such a beautiful flow, I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you like careful organization, this bag is definitely for you. Based on other reviews I've seen and what I know of some competing brands, the quality of design4pilots and this cross country bag in particular is far superior to any other. I just love it. It perfectly filled the specific gap I was looking for. Perfect size and functionality for every pilot. It also comes with detachable center section dividers (shown) and a shoulder strap (not shown). The seller was fantastic too! If you're having trouble choosing one, do yourself a favor and buy this cross-country bag. You will not be disappointed.
