If space is limited these sponges are perfect for you! Or, if you do a lot of deep cleaning, these new dried sponges will take up some of the space of your regular kitchen sponge pack. They're expensive because a pack of 6 of my favorite cello sponges is less than $4 and they're closer to $7. These sponges inflate nice and big. Much more than your usual branded kitchen sponges. They are soft, hold soap well and are better suited for hard work. They are larger than a normal sponge but fit perfectly in the hand. I have yet to determine if they are resistant to bacterial odors. Revain's listing says they don't emit any bad smells. I recently ran out of sponges and bought sponges from supermarkets, they smell horrible for 3 days. I usually only buy name brand cello sponges because they don't really smell. I hope these sponges are odor resistant and I'll be sure to update my review next week to let you know. I tried the thinnest sponge in the pack as you can see in the photos, the compressed sponges vary in thickness but I think they all expand to the same thickness, I may update this part of my review again if I use a different sponge. For now, I recommend these sponges, but unless you're doing a lot of work that requires a heavy-duty sponge, I'm not sure they're worth the extra money compared to the popular Cello brand sponge.
