What a Lifesaver! A family member was in a car accident and fractured 2 vertebrae and an ankle. Showering was out of the question, but this item allowed me to wash her hair while she was in a wheelchair. I wrapped and overlapped the shower robes front and back to keep her cast and corset from getting wet, then dampened her hair with a spray bottle filled with water mixed with shampoo, then held a perm over a towel on hers Shoulder towel dried her hair to remove excess shampoo and water, then sprayed her with clean water. The tray has absorbed all the liquid. Needless to say, her hair was cut short after the accident to keep all the tangled glass splinters out of her hair. Thanks to this product, she was able to really wash her hair between dry shampoos. I recommend it for this purpose.
