I bought this to backup my son's Mac Book Pro hard drive after the motherboard was accidentally washed. The instructions that came with the disc don't mention Mac compatibility, only PC instructions. Just in case, seeing no reason why it shouldn't work with a Mac drive and a Mac computer, I contacted tech support via live chat who confirmed it was Mac compatible. I followed the prompts to insert the disc and turn the unit on. No problem, to my son's relief we were able to successfully maintain his driveway. Even though my Mac didn't have a USB3 port, it was surprisingly fast.
