Impressed: Baby Jogger Summit X3 Double

Stroller Model - Baby Jogger Summit X3 Double (if you haven't noticed the name) I'll start with star #5. I bet they won't last long. They also give you a headache moving around in the compartments. Restricts easy access. I'll try the good old trick of running a good old #2 pencil over it to see if I can smooth out the marks a bit. Otherwise I just left them open for a test run and it worked. I have included photos from many angles so you can see the real look of this bag and how it looks. Haven't figured out the best place to attach these bottom straps since receiving the product today, but I'm willing to bet I can take that slight slant off the bag a bit. In terms of benefits, lean manufacturing had no impact on productivity. I've stuffed my wallet, multi-tool, pocket knife, flashlight, and cell phone in my pockets and, as you can see, I've barely tumbled into space. The organization is pleasant. I love the mesh pockets on the front and the inner zippered pockets on the back of each compartment, as well as the stretch sleeves on the inside ends of each compartment. I doubt I'll need a key hook, but it's nice to know it's there. I placed a 16.9 ounce water bottle and one of the full size bottles I use on my bike in the cup holders to show what size bottle they hold. There is a small additional zippered pocket. I will probably never use this for anything other than the bag to support the center bar. When the bag was first installed, it hit the handbrake directly. This brake is primarily designed for emergency stops (steep hills, blah blah blah) so I had no trouble loosening the bolt and tilting the brake slightly to one side. If anything, the grip felt more natural to me, and I've included a photo of the hex screw that needs to be loosened (circled in red) to tilt the grip (personal preference, of course) if someone else installs this on the Summit X3 . Double note: The bolt is slightly loose for a standard 5mm bike hex, which poses a risk of stripping the bolt. So be extra careful. I'm also wondering if it's SAE, which would be funny considering my runner literature says it's a Canadian product. But I digress. In general, the product convinced me. If the zippers hold up for a while and I can loosen them up a bit for easier travel, I might go back and add that fifth star, but that's unlikely as I don't like working on fixing sticky zippers or anything like that on a product that I bought new to fully meet my expectations. In short, I highly recommend this product. The space and organization is great and everything you need is always at hand.
