I LOVE this hair dryer. I originally bought this diffuser product because it was the only one at Target with one (now they all have these point focused nozzles). I've always had very long, wavy/frizzy hair that I had to blow dry to make it straight or use lots of hair products to make it a bit frizzy. I wanted an easier way to make it curly so I decided to use a diffuser. Well I'm sure it works great for most people but I'm an idiot when it comes to curly hair so it just didn't work. I decided to forget about curls and started using them as my main blow dryer without a diffuser. I have no idea the lifespan of a diffuser as I don't use one, but it's reasonable to hear that they break sooner or later.<br /><br />I hate those flimsy hair dryers that just get hot. without a hit on the head. They make my hair look weird-ugly-tangled, which I end up wearing in a ponytail. Well I'm in luck because this hair dryer actually blows (in a good way!). I didn't really realize how strong it was until I accidentally left it with my parents in the country for a week. I had to use my old hair dryer which I thought was the best and most powerful hair dryer I had and was surprised at how NOT powerful it is compared to the Revlon Matte Chrome! It has three temperature settings, including a cold setting, so you don't have to kill your thumb by pressing the button. That button is still there, but I don't use it. I've had it for over 6 months now and it's been absolutely wonderful for me! I recommend this product if you love it when your hair dryer blows!
