In general the chair is nice and soft. I have a leopard bear. The description says the cover is machine washable. First off, the zipper doesn't have a tag so you basically need a paper clip or safety pin to unzip the zipper. When you open it you will find that the cover is sewn onto the foam. How can it be machine washed? You will have to cut the threads holding the cover to the foam and the pieces of foam will completely unravel. After washing the cover and putting it back on the foam. The cover isn't as snug and tight as it was before you washed it (because you have to cut the threads to wash it!). It annoyed me a little. The animal's nose is weird because it sticks into your baby's back. I wish it was flat for more comfort. It's a cute chair, but it has some design quirks that need an overhaul.
