I appreciate the prompt delivery within 1 day as promised. I wish the length was a bit longer but it was exactly as described, I just couldn't find a piece anywhere that was long enough that I still have a small gap of uncovered area on the back of the slab/counter surface. I was also a little firmer (a little thicker) with silicone, but it works well if the side is a little wider on the opposite side. A small ledge or ledge on the underside is too wide on one side, not enough space between worktop and hob to prevent that side from sinking into the gap between worktop and hob. If I turn them over, the same problem occurs. So unless I secure them in some way (but I'm on loan this isn't the best option) they remain a little less than ideal. Easy to clean, but water stains are very noticeable after cleaning, making the black look blotchy and dirty.
