Review on ๐Ÿ”‹ Enhanced Performance: JOAUIAX Rechargeable Inclinometer for Construction and Woodworking Projects by Delos Rodeo

Models released May 2016 CAN be calibrated with W and W2 and are now working great

I bought one of these to measure the voltage in my solar system and was disappointed because it wasn't accurate. I needed two more because I have several independent systems: one for the lighting, one for my computer and one for the internet. I bought two more of these because an inaccurate gauge is better than nothing! The two new ones were just as inaccurate and seemed impossible to calibrate. (No obvious potentiometer). Well I forgot to turn one off before disconnecting the battery while doing other system work and fried it. (I STRONGLY recommend installing a built-in switch!) I started playing around with the dead meter and noticed what looked like two silver Phillips screws in places that didn't make any structural sense. As I turned the screws I realized these had to be calibration adjustments. I immediately tried it with the remaining good counters and, boom, they're accurate now. The screws are marked W and W2 on the circuit board, where coarse is W and fine is W2. These are boards with model number D69-131B, lower left corner. Adjusting note: I turn off the power before adjusting to avoid bumping into the wrong place with a metal screwdriver. After the gauges have been on for a few minutes, they appear to be just a little bit higher. So you may need to rev it a little lower to compensate. Once properly installed it seems to be holding its calibration well / Great gauges now that they are accurate! (Wish they came with instructions and a surface mount case!) They use very little power and are very bright. If I didn't turn them off with the switch at night, they would be too bright to sleep! (You could also cut the LED wire from the circuit board and add a switch to just turn off the light.) The numbers are 3/4 inch tall and bold enough to be visible from anywhere in the room. I will take at least one more, maybe more to complete my system. Much better than constantly using a multimeter to monitor the voltage!

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Functionality
