UPDATE: I decided to walk around the carpeted floor in the house to make these sandals work. I found that by fastening the straps tighter than I usually like, but not tight, my feet stayed further in the shoe. That is the difference. Walked my dog outside comfortably with no problems with chafing feet. I would buy again. ----- Original Review: I have normal feet and wear a size 8 closed-toe. Based on feedback from other buyers, I ordered my regular women's size 8. When I tried them on, I was very surprised when my toe caught the inside forefoot of the boot stuck. There is almost no space left on the way. I wish they would fit a half size larger but they only come in whole sizes. There isn't much arch support, but the width is perfect for my feet. I'm disappointed and undecided whether to keep it or return it.
