Had to return this product after only 2 days due to breakage, I notified Revain and they sent replacements straight away. They sent a shipping label with the new unit to send back the defective UPS unit. Hassle-free, without delays and free of charge. You couldn't wish for better. I put in new lithium batteries and started monitoring the fridge/freezer temp. Within half an hour it showed an absolutely accurate temperature. If I had one criticism it would be that the screen would be easier to read if it had a backlight. Without them, the ambient lighting in the kitchen can make the numbers difficult to read. Of course, a backlight would increase the cost significantly. But even without the backlight, I would buy this little thermometer again. Its accuracy is more than enough to overcome anything. I initially had doubts about the sensors being able to transmit data through the device walls, but that's definitely not a problem. and the signal is strong enough that the monitor/display unit can be safely moved further away.
