Fit matters in this dress so make sure you read the sizing chart carefully. If it fits well, it's flattering and modest. With tights or tall boot,s it is work appropriate. I actually ended up wearing it to a funeral also and it was excellent for that. The knit is thick enough to not feel like every bump and line shows, the collar has stayed white through two washings. Overall, super happy with this thing. But fit matters--if it is too big or too small, it'll hit in all the wrong places and not flatter. I am 37/31/41 (you'll have to check the header to see what size I ordered: I forgot and this reviews page doesn't list full purchase titles.)
