I use these nets in the shower to lather soap and rinse but my skin became very sensitive and blushed for hours from their rough texture. This silicone body scrub is much nicer and softer on my skin. You can fill it with a fairly reasonable amount of shower gel and then squeeze it a little to spread it over the bristles to lather your skin. One downside is that if you press hard, the top cover may come off/fall off. I like that there is something to hang it up, but it usually just sits on a shelf in the shower. I haven't had any issues with soap leaking or anything like that and overall this is a really good body scrub especially if you have sensitive skin or texture issues.
