I bought this product because it restores the natural shine of hardwoods. Unfortunately this is not accurate. It cleans hardwood floors but still leaves dull marks on them. I even spilled water on the floor to remove the film it left. Still no shine. It works like a multi-surface cleaner, so don't waste your money buying it. At least with multiple surfaces, you can use it on more surfaces. If you want your hardwood floors to shine, look for a hardwood floor polish. They renew and add oils, bringing back the shine to your wooden floors. My house is made entirely of wood except for 3 bedrooms. I have tried many cleaners and so far only floor polishes have left my hardwood floors looking new without the matte finish. In my second shot, the polish is on the left and the Bissell hardwood floor cleaner is on the right. The first photo shows how matt my floors look after using this product.
