I wear men's shoes in width 8.5 and originally ordered the Gray 236 in size 10.5 women / 8.5 men and found them a bit too big. I sent them back and received a size 9.5 female / 8.0 male and they fit perfectly. (EU Size 40) I have purchased these shoes in the past and have never been happy with the fit or feel of this type of shoe but I am very happy with the way they fit and feel. almost like barefoot, but with more protection. The rubber soles are flexible, grippy, and thick enough to provide some cushioning. The upper of the shoe hugs the foot comfortably and I don't feel any of the stitching that would normally cause irritation in this type of shoe. The inserts are removable for easy cleaning and can be replaced at any time when worn out. I bought them to wear when warming up before playing beach volleyball. I almost didn't want to wear them on the sand because they are so comfortable that I considered using them for cardio at home. I am very happy with these shoes and will most likely buy another pair.
