Our cat doesn't have a major flea problem although she loves being outside. I get a few of these from using my flea comb every night. After a few days, the bugs fall off, but the number is significantly reduced. The pesticide in this product was used in products in the 1970's and breaks down in a cat's stomach, so watching him preening himself doesn't worry me that I'm poisoning him. If we used it every week we would certainly find fewer bugs. In addition, our cat is affectionate and never scratches us while bathing. He is so beautiful, strong and pure! Good coat, but that could be a scientific diet.
