This is better than a casual jacket that just looks sporty. But it lacks many of the structural properties essential for high-impact outdoor sports (running, etc.). The collar is very bulky even when fully buttoned, the zipper is unlined and the neck is cold; I would rather not wear a scarf when exercising (which is why I bought it in the first place). Also, it's funny that the sweatshirt's laces are comically long - they reach to the hem even when untied. A very odd design choice for a blazer. It's comfortable and still looks good. and with a few layers underneath I would consider it warm enough to run. As a casual jacket, it will certainly do a good job. If it didn't have neck issues and a properly lined zip, this would be the perfect lightweight running jacket. Unfortunately, it has these issues, so I'm inclined to bring it back. There were also good thumb holes and internal pockets which came in handy when I tested them out on the run. It actually worked better than I thought it would, contrary to what I said in my original review. I still think it won't be a great choice for the colder months due to the sagging collar and zip issues, but for a brisk fall day it did a good job. I also had to trim the hoodie's drawstrings to get it to a regular length - I can't give something the highest star if I feel the need to trim it slightly or alter it when it's $30. But I'm glad this purchase turned out better than expected.
