First impression... Not the prettiest cable! Right out of the box I noticed two bad kinks in the gold strands... One on each side of the L/R The upgraded cable is shorter than the original and feels good in the hand, feels cheaper and very fragile. The stock cable feels sturdier in the hand and is better built and looks like it will last longer in my opinion. I can confirm that the standard cable is twisted but that's a minor drawback... I have a Linsoul Tripowin Zonie on the go... I hope it will be a better quality cable than the KZ GOLD SILVER MIXED UPGRADE CABLE.. Regarding on the sound quality... appearances can be deceiving, the upgrade cable sounds significantly better than the standard cable...probably because the KZ ZS 10 Pro gets more signal from the source due to the more wires in the upgrade cable compared to the standard cable. Stock cable... With the stock cable, the sounds were very bright and tight, high frequencies were punchy... with the upgraded cable, the sound is much richer, the bass is better and the soundstage is fuller, you can hear small nuances that you don't there were with the standard cable... I'm very surprised, so at $16.99 is it worth it? I think it might not be the main cable I'll be using with the ZS 10 Pro, but I think it would be a great alternative...
