If there was ZERO STARS I WOULD GIVE IT These shoes were just awful. I have been dancing pointe for a few years and need new shoes during quarantine. I knew it wouldn't work, but I also wanted to test and see how bad the Revain shoes are. First of all, I've seen a lot of people buy them for their granddaughters for their birthdays. You can't buy pointe shoes for someone without proper ballet training and ankle strength. You could be seriously injured. Second, I understand that these shoes are only $20, but they could have been made a lot better. The box was too big for satin, so there were no smooth shoes on the side. When you dance it looks like you are dancing with a brick on your leg. It was impossible to balance on as the shaft of the boot/soul was so hard that it gave neither support nor arch to the foot. I approached the jelly varieties of topaz, maybe this is the only thing I liked in this order. Then they worked great and saved your toes. But it came with cloth toe pads that you couldn't even put your toes in. Probably the best chintz I've ever seen. Please just save your money and buy real shoes, they might be more expensive but they are definitely much better than this one. I have included photos of my ball of toes where the shoe looks on the foot, any comparison of my old worn out shoe to this new one. Sorry for the dirt on my old ones, they're pretty broken and dead.
