Need improvement on mounting clip

I used this product just about a year and the clip broke off. Just right after 1 year of purchase. Funny how things break around the warranty period. Now i have one red light that is not useable for anything.

The plastic casing seems flimsy and prone to breakage

Bright and easy to attach to my metal bike basket. I have traveled with it 10 different times now and haven’t needed to re charge. It is bright, lights the way when I am without streetlights.
