Review on 🌬️ Review of Lasko Lasko-16 Remote Control Stand Fan, 3-Speed (1646) - 1-Pack, White by Kerri Houston

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Received yesterday but worried with good reason

Very concerned by what I have read or just smelled about the remote control and combustion unit. Already paid for so when it arrives I'll inspect it more closely than I ever thought necessary. A little problem and back. A lot of people wrote some negative reviews about it and if I had seen all that before ordering I most likely would have gotten something else. But $40 for a fan should be a great product. $20 at Walmart and it lasts 10 years. Hmmm. We will see tomorrow and update the review after testing and possible use. Again. very worried. Well I received it yesterday. Ratings range from 3 (caring) to 2 stars (a bit unimpressed). Many of the previous reviews are true. Very cheap stuff. The fan blades are almost paper thin, don't adjust as high as the old fans, to move around the house, the stem isn't attached with anything to hold it in place. Don't screw or snap, which means you have to move it in two movements. At low speed the noise is louder than any other fan I've ever had, not to mention the higher speeds are too loud and the motor seems to heat up quickly. I won't use the remote as one or two reviews even burned photos of it. Here's what I got for double the Walmart price, which is about $20. However, it's such a hassle to return that I just have to keep it and only use it while it's available to view for fear of overheating and a possible fire. So I definitely recommend checking out another one. I'll probably buy another brand but I'll look for better prices.
