As others have said, this contains corn syrup, which is not a good ingredient for cats. My kitten has feline herpes, his symptoms are fairly mild, he sneezes very rarely but often swallows/licks his lips which my vet says can be caused by nasal congestion due to herpes. She said to give him lysine, I tried the powder you mix with food but he didn't eat. He really likes these treats and based on feedback from others I was concerned they would be too hard but they weren't that hard they may have changed the formula. They are a bit big so before feeding I break them into 2 or 3 pieces. It really sucks, they have corn syrup because if it didn't exist I'd be feeding this treat for a long time, but I'll have to find another way to give him lysine when I'm done with the packet.
