I wanted to wait until we had some snow to give them a good test run.So far, they have held up well against puddle jumping and tromping through the first snow of the season. Admittedly, I have not gotten the softer tops of the boots wet, but the bottoms are solidly water resistant.If you're looking for super cute boots, these will not fit the bill. If you're looking for something recognizably feminine and fully functional, then these are a good choice.Some reviews say to size up, ignore those. I usually wear an 8/8½. I got the 8.5 and even with my thickest socks I have plenty of room. I don't mind because I prefer a roomy toe box, but if you prefer a snug fit, you could probably go down a half size.
