Looks great from afar. The color is gold/silver mix but up close it looks silver. I can’t tell exactly what the material is, it sounds and feels like it has a thin metal base with a molded plastic design that is then painted silver. The quality is definitely on the cheaper side of curtains rods.It’s much larger than I anticipated for the 46 inch window in my small 10 x 10 guest room. The double rod sticks out far from the wall. Because it sticks out far, I feel that it needs heavier duty brackets. You get 3 in the package but if you use a few sheer panels and a heavy blackout curtain, the brackets will bend and warp from the weight.You can see from the pics there are lots of minor imperfections but nothing you’ll notice once on the wall. Good value, just be mindful of the size of your windows, room and weight of the curtains.
