Adhesive strength is rather weak

I bought a BMW X5 with Weather-Tech flooring. The liners were smooth, and BMW has 2-inch loop-type rims that attach to the floor for the liners, which have velcro. Bought 1 1/2 "velcro" discs which I thought would stick well to the liners. They didn't. Tried "superglue" Loctite, didn't help. Got the adhesive discs with JB Weld Epoxy coated and that didn't work either. Finally used Gorilla's "superglue" and they are rock hard. I probably should have just gone with BMW floor coverings or floor mats which had a built in hook part and were the same diameter as the loop washers in the floor. But with This product saved me having to use the flooring that came with the car and that was all I cared about.
