I've read bad reviews about Maxell, Sony and Verbatim hard drives but decided to give Maxells a try. For the first 20 CDs I experienced a bounce rate of 25%. Returned to Maxells and decided to pay extra to try these JVC rims. They claim to have the lowest failure rate in the industry and apparently that's true. I burned 20 of these and the failure rate was zero. To be honest, if you increase the price of a CD to include Maxell's 25% failure rate, and also count the time wasted burning discs only to find they fail validation, these will JVC discs probably cost the same. or even slightly cheaper. Great product, love it!
