I had to replace an ice cream scoop because the last one broke at the hinge. I knew I needed a metal one so I could heat it under hot water and cut the ice a little better. This works absolutely great. It works exactly as I expected. But the coolest thing about it is that I've also used it for cookie dough. He cut through my chilled cookie dough and pressed it straight onto the baking sheet. I've gone from bending regular dish spoons to a multi-purpose spoon that makes perfectly sized and consistent sized cookies. I love it when a unique product can be used multiple times and performs better than expected. This is definitely one of those products.
