This drone was for my 9 year old son (who is quite tech savvy). He loves to. I have to say I like it too. You get a lot of features for a reasonable price. The GPS calibrates fairly quickly and works surprisingly well. It holds position very well even in moderate winds (5-10 mph). I was very surprised. The Go Home feature lands almost exactly where it started, usually within a few meters. You can draw a flight plan on the map and send it. The remote control has a really exceptional range, we didn't measure it, but it works quite a distance. At least 3 football field lengths. My only concern is the app - it's not the most user-friendly. The connection and calibration process is a little wonky, and the app could have done a better job of helping you with that. There is a combination of joystick movements you must perform to reset the gyros and prepare for calibration, then pick up the drone and spin it in two circles while holding it at different angles. The app should only guide you through the steps. The quality of the camera is fantastic considering the price range. We've had the drone for 6 months now and the only issue we've had is having to replace the propellers several times. They break pretty easily if you bump them into something. All in all a great product.
