Okay, I belong to the older generation north of 75 years. I was looking for ¼ height socks that are comfortable, stay in place once on foot and are durable. I tried these socks and was very happy with them. They stretch well, but the bandage on the legs isn't so tight that it tries to cut off blood flow. They have been in the washing machine 6 times and look brand new. Shrinkage after washing is not a problem. Doesn't itch or itch, feels soft. I liked them so much that I have already ordered 6 more pairs. I've tried several pairs of expensive jogger socks from different brands in the past and I still like them better. A comment just for information, when I first got these socks they tended to cling to any rough skin on my feet when I put them on. . I solved this problem by applying a good skin lotion to my feet daily. The problem is gone. Try it, I think you will like it too.
