Review on 🔒 G-Technology 20TB G-RAID - Thunderbolt 3, USB-C (USB 3.1 Gen 2), HDMI - Removable Dual Drive Storage - Silver (0G05763-1) by Sedric Hood

I bought this 12TB G-Raid external drive to store my large collection of photos, videos and network cloud drive. It's attached to the new iMac Pro, and in practice, a decent chunk of what I do is professional. After a few weeks of use, my first impression is that this is a very good external drive. I don't feel like it slows down workflow or doesn't keep up with the computer. Only time will tell how it performs after heavy use and this is obviously a big factor in the final ranking. A few remarks about noise deserve mention. On the one hand, I don't think it's as bad as some might suggest, but admittedly it's very subjective. However, it's noticeably louder than the WD hard drive I've been using recently (which is now dedicated to backup). Enough that I put it under my desk to muffle the sound. It's also not consistent or predictable when heard - most of the time it's silent.
