Review on 7PCS Metal DND Dice Set, Polyhedral Dungeons And Dragons Dice For Role Playing Games (Ancient Bronze) by Don Devine

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Heavy and gorgeous on my review.

The package this arrived in was a standard revain plastic bubble-wrap mailing bag. Inside that there was a ziploc type bag that contained a simulated reptile skin black leatherette bag. Inside the leatherette bag was another ziploc style bag containing 7 smaller ziploc style bags, each containing 1 die. No observed shipping damage.First impressions, they're quite heavy, and they're gorgeous. They are rose gold metal with purple enamel or acrylic or something. The contrast makes them pretty easy to read. They would also make a great gift.I do not have the fancy scientific equipment I would need to see if they are properly balanced or not, but I can't feel any obvious weight issues. I also haven't rolled each die 100 times to evaluate the randomness of the rolls, so I can't really say with any authority that they aren't loaded. Best advice, don't use them in a casino. Shouldn't be a problem, though, as most casinos don't let you use your own dice. There's really nothing about them that I don't like.I would definitely recommend these dice.

Pros
  • I bought these for my husband and he loves them! He couldn’t wait for D&D night!
Cons
  • The metal's clanging sound can be louder and more distracting than the softer sound of plastic dice
