Choosing a yarn organizer is a lot like choosing a new wallet - the user has to make a choice. I didn't have it long but I think I made the right choice for me. It's not too big or too small. It's lightweight (which is important to me!) and attractive in color. I can't say anything about durability. I expect the outside will hold up well. I don't know what the lining is made of. I crochet so I don't have to worry about punching holes in the lining. I suggest putting the tips on the knitting needles. I spend more time crocheting and less time untangling yarn. I would buy this again.
