I took a little risk buying this thermometer. It only had 15 reviews and was clearly new to the market. I am a father with a large family and it is difficult for me to keep the thermometer working with drips, water, children throwing it around the room, etc. If you are reading this, you can rest assured that this thermometer still works and can withstand heavy use. A few highlights: - Durable - This thing is lightweight and can probably take a fall or two on a hard floor. - Strong Magnet - Some of my other thermometers have a magnet that will hardly, I mean hardly, hold it to a magnetized surface. This thermometer has a strong magnet and unless you drop it on a surface it sticks pretty well. No on/off button, just flip open the thermometer and you're good to go, flip back to rotate. off, or there's a 10-minute timer that turns it off if you forget. Too often I only find them after a few days with other thermometers.
