This is a dual review comparing the WizGear magnetic mount and the Nekteck magnetic mount. rectangular metal bracket, both with adhesive backing. Also comes with a damp/dry cloth to clean the surface before installing the self-adhesive magnet holder. Nekteck - The product is made of the same materials as WizGear. WizGear covers a little less. (As you can see in the photos) The Nekteck and WizGear magnetic mounts are nearly identical in depth and diameter. The adhesive in the Nekteck "felt" stickier than the WizGear adhesive. (Although I can't say for sure and haven't done any scientific testing or anything. It was just my observation when I removed the lid from the adhesive.) The Nekteck and WizGear's metal mounts are pretty much the same size and adhesive. .I used 1 Nekteck and 1 WizGear to mount a rectangular top tray. So if one of them fails, that should shed a little more light on which works better. For now, however, I recommend every product. Both are unremarkable and appear to be of good quality. Although I will order Nekteck again and not WizGear as the glue covers the entire Nekteck magnet. I will update my review if one of the mounts fails. It's also worth noting that both magnets are STRONG. I'm more worried about the adhesive peeling off than the fact that the magnet isn't strong enough to hold a phone or tablet.
