These knives are really great for the following reason. You have to handle them with kit gloves like high end knife sets. You can throw them in the dishwasher or sometimes leave them without much guilt because after a year or two you can throw them away and buy new ones once they've worn out due to their cheap price. the price of a more expensive knife that you dutifully have to hand wash after each use. I know that sounds like a lazy man's philosophy, and it probably is, but these are quality knives that should last a year or two (or much longer). if you really take care of them, and of course depending on how often you use them), but they can be guilt-free treated like any other cookware.
