I just decided to leave my opinion on these after owning them for almost 2 years. They sound great with any type of music. Haven't heard any more expensive headphones, but the sound was way better than my old $50 Koss headphones and any in-ear headphones I've ever had. Initially I was very happy with my purchase. However, they become very uncomfortable after about an hour of listening and still put a lot of pressure on and around my ears even after a year. The strip at the top tends to dig into my scalp because the strip at the top is actually flatter than rounded. A little over a year later, the plastic connector that attaches the cup to the stem (grey - see photo) completely fell apart when putting it on. The jagged edge of plastic slammed into my cheek with such force that it bled. I've been using them for about a year but have put the cups under my headband so they don't move. Lately the left channel has been crackling - it comes and goes as I twitch the wire. It's time for a new pair and I'm not thinking about another pair of AKGs!
