Not completely hands-free, not ideal for small or squirming pets

I bought this for a 6.5 lb cat. This carrier is better suited for a 15-20 pound pet than a small one. Although it has laces around the opening of the bag, they only narrow the opening by a few inches and come undone easily. So unless your pet sits still or you keep them in place, they are unreliable. Any animal can easily jump out if not watched. This isn't the medium I was hoping for. It is made of high quality material but I was hoping it would be more comfortable for my little girl.
