No solid body. best in cases

Well, firstly, when you put them on you feel both tight and loose when that's the case. The sides seem to want to pull away from the iPad, and the hard plastic back seems to take advantage of that. This is very strange to explain and it only happens when I'm holding the sides of the iPad with one hand. It seems to be enough for protection. I wouldn't bet on a big drop.
