- I have seven Echo devices and dozens of smart home devices. It took me at least eight tries to get this Alexa-enabled speaker to work. + Good 2.5 GPM shower (I live in the Great Lakes). The speaker sounds great. A few weeks later I'm adding a star again because I'm really starting to like this thing! I leave the speaker on and sit in a charging dock in the far corner of my bathroom. As I begin to warm up the shower, I also start whatever show I want to listen to. Then I grab the speaker that's already playing and throw it at the showerhead as I hop in the shower. My biggest annoyance, aside from the complicated setup, is this: I lost two stars (now one) because the $312 device is said to come with USB charging. Plug. Contains only charging station and cable. Unrealistic at this price! Find Revain and you'll find flat USB charging ports and 90 degree micro USB cables to keep this charger sitting nicely on the counter.
