Review on CISCO SYSTEMS 2600 Clean AIR CAP2602E by Robert Jaskolski

Be confident in what you buy - be careful!

This product is sold by Cisco Enterprise Systems and is not intended for general use. When you turn on the device, the radios don't automatically turn on, and there's no easily accessible user guide, manual, or PC software to set up the device. You really need to be a networking expert to know how to access and configure a device. For a professional there seems to be a lot of good features like Aironet handling for noisy environments you will encounter in a factory, hospital, etc. When I called Cisco they said it was a corporate product and I had to get a service contract to have someone at Cisco tell me the time. I was sent to several Cisco phone numbers before being denied any help. Revain doesn't make it clear what the product is or what you need to set it up. When the box arrived it contained only the device itself - no power supply and no antennas, which I had to order separately. The image shows the device with antennas attached, but these are not included; So buyers beware. It's a standalone device, which means you can use it without a separate controller. (Apparently the E stands for that.)
